Many women who undergo testing for the Kibbe type, as a result, encounter some discrepancies between the description of the resulting type and the peculiarities of their appearance.

Gisele Bundchen is more often categorized as a Pure Dramatic, mostly because of her expressive bone structure of her face. However, the angles in her appearance are not sharp enough. In his book, David Kibbe also considered cases where the woman's face was clearly of one type and her body of a neighboring type:
